CAREER OBJECTIVES
I am a highly motivated individual who is interested in making a difference by working in the human health or environmental field. I plan to take the scientific skills I developed during my undergrad and pair them with the business and soft skills I am currently gaining in the MMB program to become a business professional within the biotechnology field. I am particularly interested in working in the biotechnology industry, specifically in the RTP area.

Assisted in the development of a microfluidics assay to detect microbial activity in the field in extreme environments.

Performed Legionella detection tests such as qPCR and culturing.
Identified Legionella sp. visually and using agglutination tests.

Research Assistant
Investigated the interaction of Legionella pneumophila in cooling towers and aimed to understand the role of peptidases in pathogenesis.
